The other day, I decided to feed my craving and go buy myself a hot-n-ready $5 pizza from Little Caesars. As I was purchasing the pizza, I thought about how much food I was getting for only $5. Then I thought about all of those people out there who would do anything for even one slice of this deliciousness. It suddenly came to me what I was going to do for my act of kindness for the week..
I told the man at the register to add another $5 pizza to my order. Now with two pizzas, I headed down Grand River toward Lansing. As I’m stopped at a light, I see a man bundled up holding a sign that says “Anything and everything appreciated. God bless”.
With my friend driving, she pulled into a nearby parking lot. I got out of the car and walked over to this, who appeared homeless, man and offered him the entire pizza. He looked me in the eye with disbelief and said “Thank you thank you! God Bless you!” I handed him the pizza and said “Have a nice day sir.” And walked away. He immediately walked to a sign close by, sat down and dug into the pizza box. Boy did that feel good….
